Ready for some Talavera-inspired painting tips? I love this design style and thought I'd give it a try on a mug and saucer set.
It's a traditional art form from the state of Puebla, Mexico (where the Battle of Puebla took place)! You know it is talavera when you see the bright cobalt blue painted accents, deep reds, earthy greens and oranges. Here are directions for my “crafty chica” version.
